| Torture is defined as the deliberate, systematic, or wanton infliction of physical or mental suffering... which to most overweight people would be the perfect description of exercise. While deep down we all know that exercise keeps us healthy and thus happy, continually torturing ones body by pushing it to its limits can seem like hell to most of us who prefer a good book or movie over a jog in the park. Yet here we stand, at the beginning of the end, facing an entire year of torture, a year of hell if you will... Cheerfully... Ok, maybe ‘cheerfully’ isn’t the right word for it. Worriedly, nervously, uncertainly, apprehensively... yeah you get the point lol. However we stand, that we stand (though maybe soon to be sitting exhaustedly) at all, facing a new year of decidedly new activities is at least exciting. Each new activity will be accompanied by a blog and photos, reviewing what went down and how successful (or unsuccessful) an activity was. Taking into account not only calories burnt, but also important factors such as how fun the activity was, and whether it was sustainable to complete regularly. Hopefully everyone will enjoy the coming weeks and months, as we torture ourselves for our own learning and of course your amusement. Welcome everyone, to the Year of Hell... | |
