| I had this trouble last time; what do you really say about a walk to make it even remotely, semi interesting and or entertaining. A walk is a walk is a walk, but is it? Well ask me that when we get around to the 10 kilometre one. But then this was meant to be a 15 kilometre one from Berowra to Cowan up through the mountains, round the back-ways and chopping our way through harsh bushland. Unfortunately, or fortunately for us (however you want to look at it), we were unable to partake in this exercise due to personal reasons, but we had to do something so we went for a 4.5 kilometre walk alongside the Nepean River. Picturesque is one possible word to describe the experience. While it may not have been the most arduous task we could have chosen to give ourselves, it was certainly a nice calming walk given the circumstances, beautiful weather, scenic views, and if it wasn’t for all the darn kids, then it would almost be worth describing it as idyllic; oh that and the bugs, we hate bugs! I did say that it was picturesque but unfortunately we forgot to replace the memory card in the camera and so while we have some nice shots, we have no way of actually transferring them but when we do, we’ll be sure to post them in the forums. Also speaking of unfortunateness, Tali also forgot to bring the heart rate monitor so we don’t really have any stats to compare either. Saying that though, we did have a nice picnic. | |
